Sarah Palin Continues to Speak Out Seperating People instead of bringing them together. Not sure why she’s saying anything to begin with, the polls showed that people didn’t like her period, because of her boring, “Marriage is between a man and a woman only”. Alright, we got it, we heard you, we’re bored, but are you really going to do for this country. She couldn’t answer, so she lost. In the end, the majority doesn’t give a shit, they want you to get people jobs and stop talking about same sex marriage.
Sarah Palin Defends Miss California, Carrie Prejean
Statement from Sarah Palin:
The liberal onslaught of malicious attacks against Carrie Prejean for expressing her opinion is despicable.
Carrie and I spoke soon after the attacks started; I can relate as a liberal target myself. What I find so remarkable is that these politically-motivated attacks fail to show that what Carrie and I believe is also what President Obama and Secretary Clinton believe — marriage is between a man and a woman.
I applaud Donald Trump for standing with Carrie during this time. And I respect Carrie for standing strong and staying true to herself, and for not letting those who disagree with her deny her protection under the nation’s First Amendment Rights.
Our Constitution protects us all — not just those who agree with the far left.
“What Sarah and Carrie fail to realize is that this has nothing to do with Far Left or Far Right, it has to do with accepting ALL people, that’s all, plain and simple. But this is coming from a woman who had no idea where Iraq was, so I’d hardly call her a spokesperson for anything. Dumb beauty queens stick together. I’m also highly against Teen Sex and Teen Pregnancy, and for abstinence, but apparently Sarah doesn’t feel that same way.”
Ann Coulter writes article on Sarah Palin
April 30, 2009
Ann Coulter contributed an article to Time Magazine presumptuously calling Sarah Palin the most influential person in 2008. She should’ve said the “dumbest influential person in contributing nothing to the Republican party causing them to lose the race, but that’s what happens when you have a great guy like John McCain pandering too far to the right, the Bible Belt, instead of pandering to Americans as a whole, which is what Obama did, which is why he won the race. Ann cites Sarah Palin as a real American, “The American voter can be hornswoggled occasionally, but we can generally spot a real American, and that’s what Sarah Palin is. She really was a housewife who went into politics because she didn’t like the way her taxes were being spent. She really did take on the old-boy network — the oil companies and her own party — and won. And yes, she really did walk the walk on abortion when she found out she was carrying a Down-syndrome baby.”
This isn’t to knock Sarah Palin or Ann Coulter as both do have valid positive points and most any intelligent being does. Sarah Palin got into politics because she wanted to make sure that the people’s state tax was being spent properly. That is a big plus in my book and a big thumbs up.
However, while on the council, she successfully opposed a measure to curtail the hours at Wasilla’s bars by two hours and was a member of a church that advocated abstinence from alcohol. This is where I stop and say “eh, now you’re crossing the line.” Just because you don’t drink, and I don’t drink either so I can say this, however, it’s not your business to force the public to live the same lifestyle you live. Her fight to stop abortion is something I could care less either way about as it doesn’t effect me, however it does borderline that again choosing to tell people how to live business and I am fully against that. How about teaching people responsibilities when it comes to sex, because young people are far more promiscuous by the age of 12 than they were just 10-20 years ago. Gun rights, the right to bear arms, whether we have the right or don’t have the right doesn’t stop people in South Central from carrying them and going on a shooting spree when someone pisses them off, although I doubt Sarah Palin falls into that category, so fine, keep the gun, although her reasoning for wanting it is to shoot animals as sport.
Sarah Palin did lie though when she formerly stated would not allow her personal religious beliefs to dictate her political positions. According to Wasilla librarian Mary Ellen Emmons, Palin inquired two or three times in October 1996 as to how Emmons would handle any request to remove books from the library. Some said that her [religious beliefs,” and the concerns of some voters about language in the books, motivated her inquiries. That’s a big no, no. No one should have the right AGAIN to dictate to other human beings how they choose to live there life and with who, and what books they want to read and what movies they want to see. This is where Sarah fucks up. She also slightly fucks up where she began firing qualified people of service to the community for not supporting ALL her beliefs. I say slightly fucks up, because if Sarah Palin were working for me, I already know we wouldn’t see eye to eye on some things and I’m sorry she would just have to go.
Sarah Palin had Mary Ellen Emmons fired as well as Police Chief Irl Stambaugh. She backed out of firing Emmons in the end due to the public outcry over such horror.
This isn’t to knock Sarah Palin at every turn, as she did do some wonderful things when it came to spending money, like cut property taxes by 75%. She improved the roads and sewers, increased funding to the Police Department. She was considered the one of the most popular governor’s in a state, that is until she changed her ways when running for the Vice President ticket, her popularity vote in the state of Alaska declined over 20%!
She also doesn’t always side with fellow Republicans and will call them on it. As a Governor, Sarah Palin has done an impeccable job when it comes to spending and saving money. However, she has been under fire for using state money to fly her family along with her to business state functions, but her camp had consistently assured that it does file under IRS guidelines. In addition, she also came under fire for fighting to spend 233 million dollars to build a bridge that residents called the “bridge to nowhere”. It was so controversial that the community turned against Sarah Palin for turning against them.
John McCain was urged to pick Palin as his running mate because it would boost the religious right’s interest in him for President. That was where McCain fucked up. In the end, there is very little religious right compared to American Society as a whole. The religious right has made themselves to look like demons by constantly getting involved in running American Citizens lives, and people were just plain sick of that. Palin kept fucking up during the Vice Presidential run with her interviews that made her appear as a less than worthy candidate that Conservatives and genuine Republicans non-religious were pushing her to back out of the race. She was simply a novelty, a hot bitch in a dress, who knows how to handle economic crises in her state, but other than that, there just isn’t much else about her that is positive. Public interest in her grew more callous as they began to see through her.
Her biggest downfall is her “deep religious convictions” which have no place in governing a country with a variety of many different people who have different needs to raise a family and live quietly in peace. Same Sex Marriage being the big one now, which she does not support, she lost the homosexual vote right there, when they could’ve easily boosted her into office. In fact, she went as far as saying she opposes same-sex marriage and even supported a non-binding referendum for an Alaskan Constitutional Amendment that would deny state health benefits to same-sex couples. However, when earlier in her political career before the VP ticket, she vetoed that bill citing it as unconstitutional. She clearly changed her tune as a VP to pander to the right wing Christian base who all want to put homosexuals in a concentration camp, which is so Jesus like isn’t it? God creates homosexuals and they want to make the choice as false Christians to do away with them.
Ann Coulter finished off her article stating, “The combination of Palin’s attractiveness as a candidate and her ability to expose liberals made her a celebrity among Republicans. The only thing I have against her is that she threatens to surpass me in attracting the left’s hatred.” I guess Ann needs some publicity and has some bills to pay, therefore books to sell.
Vote NO for Sarah Palin
October 9, 2008
Sarah Palin does not believe in Equal or Human Rights. Sarah Palin believes in everyone living their life the way she does.
PBS has an online poll asking if Sarah Palin is qualified. Apparentlythe right wing knew about this in advance and are flooding the voting with YES votes. The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream media. It can influence undecided voters in swing states.
Please do two things — it takes 20 seconds.
1) Click on the link and vote yourself.
Here’s the link:
http://www.pbs.org/now/polls/poll-435.html
2) Then send this to every single Obama-Biden voter you know, and urge them to vote anon.
We don’t need PBS saying their viewers think Sarah Palin is qualified.
Right now the Poll is split about 49/49.
SARAH PALIN DECLINES TO ACKNOWLEDGE “NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY”
October 9, 2008
MEDIA RELEASE
PALIN DECLINES TO ACKNOWLEDGE “NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY”
GAY ALASKANS DISMAYED BY GOVERNOR’S REBUFF
(Juneau, AK) — Gov. Palin has declined to issue a formal proclamation recognizing “National Coming Out Day,” in Alaska. Heartened by the Gov. Palin’s positive comments about gays and lesbians in the Vice Presidential Debate, Alaskans Together submitted a formal request to acknowledge the day, which is observed on Oct. 11 internationally by members of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered) communities and supporters.
“But I also want to clarify, if there’s any kind of suggestion at all from my answer that I would be anything but tolerant of adults in America choosing their partners, choosing relationships that they deem best for themselves, you know…,” said Gov. Palin during the debate.
“Governor Palin called for ‘tolerance’, and we hoped she’d show that type of leadership as Governor with this proclamation,” said Alaskans Together President Marsha Buck. “Coming out is a difficult and deserves recognition.”
So far in October 2008 Governor Palin has issued proclamations for: “Careers in Construction Week,” “10th Annual Christian Heritage Week,” “Biomedical Technician Week,” “Alaska Taiwan Friendship Week,” “World Farm Animals Day,” “Breastfeeding Awareness Month,” and “Grand Opening of Rilke Schule Day.”
“We were asking for the Governor to acknowledge and recognize the dignity of openly-gay Alaskans. We weren’t asking for a policy position, beyond simple acknowledgement.” Buck said.

SAY NO TO PROPOSITION 8
October 1, 2008
Sarah Palin was interviewed by Katie Couric and she said, ““One of my absolute best friends for the past 30 years happens to be gay… I love her dearly. She is not my gay friend– she is one of my best friends. She happens to have made a choice that isn’t a choice that I would have made.”
Wait a minute she thinks it’s a choice?? Who would choose a lifestyle to be ostracized by society their whole life besides me? Dumb Cunt Muscle.
I would love to know about this best friend for about 30 years. What idiot would be best friends with someone who felt that way about them? Unless of course it’s a fabrication on her part, after all she’s been caught in one lie after another. She’s Bush in a dress, so I made a donation to the Obama campaign.
Also the two sides of Proposition 8, by the way for the record, the constitution was never stated marriage was between a man and a woman, it was just assumed, that is until dumb fucks tried to put it there in 1977, when they forced an added amendment to the legislature boos to read that marriage is “a personal relation arising out of a civil contract between a man and a woman”. And in 2000 they “inhumanely altered” the family code to formally define marriage between man and a woman, because these people were panicked. It was fought in 2004 and then we won because as of June 17, 2008, history was made, it was put in the books that marriage between individuals of the same sex are valid and recognized legally with the state. Of course those dried up family groups are now trying again to stop it, which is how they again, “inhumanely forced” the Proposition 8 on the ballot to hear a counted voted on it again. Because this so affects them we get married. Jesus Fucking Christ.
All they’re doing is perpetuating chaos and inequality lines, the same thing white people tried to do to black people in the first half of the century by forcing them to work as slaves for them on the plantains, and hiding under white sheets, burning crosses on their lawns and killing them….that is until the smarter side of humanity took over and stood by them marching and fighting for civil rights. If I was there during that time I would’ve marched right with them. But it’s happening all over again, and it’s time for us to get angry. Those shriveled up bags that are for Proposition 8 had stated that it was forced upon them, that they have no problem with the gay community, but they can’t just come in and force the change upon them. My question to that is why is it okay that they force their rules against us? They just made a discriminatory statement, and you know that just makes me mad, and no one wants to see me when I get mad, because it comes at you from all angles.
About Sarah Palin: Open Letter by Anne Kilkenny
September 15, 2008
ABOUT SARAH PALIN
I am a resident of Wasilla, Alaska. I have known Sarah since 1992. Everyone here knows Sarah, so it is nothing special to say we are on a first-name basis. Our children have attended the same schools. Her father was my child’s favorite substitute teacher. I also am on a first name basis with her parents and mother-in-law. I attended more City Council meetings during her administration than about 99% of the residents of the city. She is enormously popular; in every way she’s like the most popular girl in middle school. Even men who think she is a poor choice and won’t vote for her can’t quit smiling when talking about her because she is a “babe”. It is astonishing and almost scary how well she can keep a secret. She kept her most recent pregnancy a secret from her children and parents for seven months. She is “pro-life”. She recently gave birth to a Down’s syndrome baby. There is no cover-up involved, here; Trig is her baby. She is energetic and hardworking. She regularly worked out at the gym. She is savvy. She doesn’t take positions; she just “puts things out there” and if they prove to be popular, then she takes credit. Her husband works a union job on the North Slope for BP and is a champion snowmobile racer.Todd Palin’s kind of job is highly sought-after because of the schedule and high pay. He arranges his work schedule so he can fish for salmon in Bristol Bay for a month or so in summer, but by no stretch of the imagination is fishing their major source of income. Nor has her life-style ever been anything like that of native Alaskans. Sarah and her whole family are avid hunters. She’s smart.
Her experience is as mayor of a city with a population of about 5,000 (at the time), and less than 2 years as governor of a state with about 670,000 residents. During her mayoral administration most of the actual work of running this small city was turned over to an administrator. She had been pushed to hire this administrator by party power-brokers after she had gotten herself into some trouble over precipitous firings which had given rise to a recall campaign. Sarah campaigned in Wasilla as a “fiscal conservative”. During her 6 years as Mayor, she increased general government expenditures by over 33%. During those same 6 years the amount of taxes collected by theCity increased by 38%. This was during a period of low inflation(1996-2002). She reduced progressive property taxes and increased a regressive sales tax which taxed even food. The tax cuts that she promoted benefited large corporate property owners way more than they benefited residents. The huge increases in tax revenues during her mayoral administration weren’t enough to fund everything on her wish list though, borrowed money was needed, too. She inherited a city with zero debt, but left it with indebtedness of over $22 million. What did Mayor Palin encourage the voters to borrow money for? Was it the infrastructure that she saidshe supported? The sewage treatment plant that the city lacked? or a new library? No. $1m for a park. $15m-plus for construction of a multi-use sports complex which she rushed through to build on a piece of property that the City didn’t even have clear title to, that was still in litigation 7 yrs later–to the delight of the lawyers involved! The sports complex itself is a nice addition to the community but a huge money pit, not the profit-generator she claimed it would be. She also supported bonds for $5.5m for road projects that could have been done in 5-7 yrs without any borrowing. While Mayor, City Hall was extensively remodeled and her office redecorated more than once. These are small numbers, but Wasilla is a very small city.
As an oil producer, the high price of oil has created a budget surplus in Alaska. Rather than invest this surplus in technology that will make us energy independent and increase efficiency, as Governor she proposed distribution of this surplus to every individual in the state. In this time of record state revenues and budget surpluses, she recommended that the state borrow/bond for road projects, even while she proposed distribution of surplus state revenues: spend today’s surplus, borrow for needs. She’s not very tolerant of divergent opinions or open to outside ideasor compromise. As Mayor, she fought ideas that weren’t generated byher or her staff. Ideas weren’t evaluated on their merits, but on the basis of who proposed them. While Sarah was Mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire our highly respected City Librarian because the Librarian refused to consider removing from the library some books that Sarah wanted removed. City residents rallied to the defense of the City Librarian and against Palin’s attempt at out-and-out censorship, so Palin backed down and withdrew her termination letter. People who fought her attempt to oust the Librarian are on her enemies list to this day. Sarah complained about the “old boy’s club” when she first ran forMayor, so what did she bring Wasilla? A new set of “old boys”. Palin fired most of the experienced staff she inherited. At the City and asGovernor she hired or elevated new, inexperienced, obscure people, creating a staff totally dependent on her for their jobs and eternally grateful and fiercely loyal–loyal to the point of abusing their power to further her personal agenda, as she has acknowledged happened in thecase of pressuring the State’s top cop (see below).
As Mayor, Sarah fired Wasilla’s Police Chief because he “intimidated” her, she told the press. As Governor, her recent firing of Alaska’s top cop has the ring of familiarity about it. He served at her pleasure and she had every legal right to fire him, but it’s pretty clear that an important factor in her decision to fire him was because he wouldn’t fire her sister’s ex-husband, a State Trooper. Under investigation for abuse of power, she has had to admit that more than 2 dozen contacts were made between her staff and family to the person that she later fired, pressuring him to fire her ex-brother-in-law. She tried to replace the man she fired with a man who she knew had been reprimanded for sexual harassment; when this caused a public furor, she withdrew her support. She has bitten the hand of every person who extended theirs to her in help. The City Council person who personally escorted her around town introducing her to voters when she first ran for Wasilla City Council became one of her first targets when she was later elected Mayor. She abruptly fired her loyal City Administrator; even people who didn’tlike the guy were stunned by this ruthlessness. Fear of retribution has kept all of these people from saying anything publicly about her. When then-Governor Murkowski was handing out political plums, Sarah got the best, Chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission: one of the few jobs not in Juneau and one of the best paid. She had no background in oil & gas issues. Within months of scoring this great job which paid $122,400/yr, she was complaining in the press about the high salary. I was told that she hated that job: the commute, the structured hours, the work. Sarah became aware that a member of this Commission (who was also the State Chair of the Republican Party) engaged in unethical behavior on the job. In a gutsy move which some undoubtedly cautioned her could be political suicide, Sarah solved all her problems in one fell swoop: got out of the job she hated and garnered gobs of media attention as the patron saint of ethics and as a gutsy fighter against the “old boys’ club” when she dramatically quit, exposing this man’s ethics violations (for which he was fined).
As Mayor, she had her hand stuck out as far as anyone for pork from Senator Ted Stevens. Lately, she has castigated his pork-barrel politics and publicly humiliated him. She only opposed the “bridge to nowhere” after it became clear that it would be unwise not to. As Governor, she gave the Legislature no direction and budget guidelines, then made a big grandstand display of line-item vetoing projects, calling them pork. Public outcry and further legislative action restored most of these projects–which had been vetoed simply because she was not aware of their importance–but with the unobservant she had gained a reputation as “anti-pork”. She is solidly Republican: no political maverick. The State party leaders hate her because she has bit them in the back and humiliated them. Other members of the party object to her self-description as a fiscal conservative. Around Wasilla there are people who went to high school with Sarah. They call her “Sarah Barracuda” because of her unbridled ambition and predatory ruthlessness. Before she became so powerful, very ugly stories circulated around town about shenanigans she pulled to be made point guard on the high school basketball team.
When Sarah’smother-in-law, a highly respected member of the community and experienced manager, ran for Mayor, Sarah refused to endorse her. As Governor, she stepped outside of the box and put together of package of legislation known as “AGIA” that forced the oil companies to march to the beat of her drum. Like most Alaskans, she favors drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. She has questioned if the loss of sea ice is linked to global warming. She campaigned “as a private citizen” against a state initiaitive that would have either a) protected salmon streams from pollution from mines, or b) tied up in the courts all mining in thestate (depending on who you listen to). She has pushed the State’s lawsuit against the Dept. of the Interior’s decision to list polarbears as threatened species. McCain is the oldest person to ever run for President; Sarah will be a heartbeat away from being President. There has to be literally millions of Americans who are more knowledgeable and experienced than she. However, there’s a lot of people who have underestimated her and are regretting it.
CLAIM VS FACT
•“Hockey mom”: true for a few years
•“PTA mom”: true years ago when her first-born was in elementary school, not since
•“NRA supporter”: absolutely true •social conservative: mixed.
Opposes gay marriage, BUT vetoed a bill that would have denied benefits to employees in same-sex relationships (said she did this because it was unconsitutional).
•pro-creationism: mixed. Supports it, BUT did nothing as Governor to promote it.
•“Pro-life”: mixed.Knowingly gave birth to a Down’s syndrome baby BUT declined to call a special legislative session on some pro-lifelegislation
•“Experienced”: Some high schools have more students than Wasilla has residents. Many cities have more residents than the state of Alaska. No legislative experience other than City Council.
Little hands-on supervisory or managerial experience; needed help of a city administrator to run town of about 5,000.
•political maverick: not at all
•gutsy: absolutely! •open & transparent: ??? Good at keeping secrets. Not good at explaining actions.
•has a developed philosophy of public policy: no
•”a Greenie”: no.Turned Wasilla into a wasteland of big box stores and disconnected parking lots. Is pro-drilling off-shore and in ANWR.
•fiscal conservative: not by my definition! •pro-infrastructure: No. Promoted a sports complex and park in a city without a sewage treatment plant or storm drainage system. Built streets to early 20th century standards.
•pro-tax relief: Lowered taxes for businesses, increased tax burden onresidents
•pro-small government: No. Oversaw greatest expansion of city government in Wasilla’s history.
•pro-labor/pro-union. No. Just because her husband works union doesn’t make her pro-labor. I have seen nothing to support any claim that she is pro-labor/pro-union.
WHY AM I WRITING THIS?
First, I have long believed in the importance of being an informed voter. I am a voter registrar. For 10 years I put on student voting programs in the schools. If you google my name (Anne Kilkenny +Alaska), you will find references to my participation in local government, education, and PTA/parent organizations. Secondly, I’ve always operated in the belief that “Bad things happen when good people stay silent”. Few people know as much as I do because few have gone to as many City Council meetings. Third, I am just a housewife. I don’t have a job she can bump me out of. I don’t belong to any organization that she can hurt. But, I am no fool; she is immensely popular here, and it is likely that this will cost me somehow in the future: that’s life. Fourth, she has hated me since back in 1996, when I was one of the 100 or so people who rallied to support the City Librarian against Sarah’sattempt at censorship. Fifth, I looked around and realized that everybody else was afraid to say anything because they were somehow vulnerable.
CAVEATS I am not a statistician. I developed the numbers for the increase in spending & taxation 2 years ago (when Palin was running for Governor) from information supplied to me by the Finance Director of the City of Wasilla, and I can’t recall exactly what I adjusted for: did I adjust for inflation? for population increases? Right now, it is impossible for a private person to get any info out of City Hall–they are swamped. So I can’t verify my numbers. You may have noticed that there are various numbers circulating for the population of Wasilla, ranging from my “about 5,000?, up to 9,000. The day Palin’s selection was announced a city official told me that the current population is about 7,000. The official 2000 census count was 5,460. I have used about 5,000 because Palin was Mayor from 1996 to 2002, and the city was growing rapidly in the mid-90’s.

Wasilla, Alaska is not that cool of a place
September 12, 2008
Wasilla, Alaska is actually not as cool as I would’ve thought.

Sarah Palin changed all that, now Alaska is a place I would never want to go to. It seems like the kind of place that fumes with hatefilled Evangelical Christian Churches, which I ironically equate with the devil. The real Jesus Christ was an all loving, all serving, all compassionate human being, nothing like Christians today which seem more apt to side with a satanical Christ they’ve created in their own heads.
Sarah Palin bans books!
September 9, 2008
I’ve got more shit on Sarah Palin. Boy does she spend a lot of energy trying to ban books and seperate people, and take away their health care. You all think you know her?! You don’t. Here’s more fucked up shit this bitch does in a negative way:
banned when she was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. This information is taken from the official minutes of the Wasilla Library Board .
When the librarian refused to ban the books, Palin tried to get her fired…
